Twelve-year-old Sugarcane lives in a well-funded orphanage in southern Rwanda with her twin sister. When she learns that one of her European sponsors is planning a visit and intends to adopt her, she will do everything it takes to seize this opportunity.
Inspired by true events, the film tells a tense, action driven story, about survival and the guilt
lying underneath it.

Meet Lionel, the Israeli forrest Gump.
When Lionel's parents confess that he was adopted and that his original parents were Jewish, Lionel decides, at the age of seventeen, to leave his life in Marseilles, France, and join the Israeli army.
From then on we follow this peculiar and naive character on his life journey in the holly land, trying to understand what the f**k it means to be Jewish.
It's a film about idenity, exploring the vast amount of different groups living under the same roof in Israel.
